The Digital Artisans Origin Story

Farm girl becomes theater major, then MBA, then tech enthusiast, and finally entrepreneur.

That pretty much covers it. But since you're here, let me share a bit more.
Growing up on a farm was enjoyable, but attending Northwestern to study theater was my dream—and it was a blast. My first job after college was in downtown Chicago, assisting Encyclopaedia Britannica (remember them?) in transitioning to digital.
This creative yet corporate endeavor sparked my interest in business, leading me back to Northwestern for my MBA (and plenty of Special K!).
Afterward, I landed a great job at Intel, then moved to Intuit, followed by a series of startups with Hubspot (thanks to the Mediaholix team!). Eventually, I returned to prestigious roles at Adobe, VMware, and PayPal.
However, the Hubspot certification experience instilled in us a continuous desire for learning and supporting emerging young Artisans.
But... Digital Artisans is not just me. Given my network, there's an artisan for pretty anything you need. Again, you need a FANTASTIC website - there's fantastic Karen & team at Mediaholix! You need an event manager. We have one of those. Social media (TikTok? .... maybe... look for a loonger blog on the pro's/cons of that one.)
And.... each time we bring on new artisan interns... we learn more possibilities and have fresh and creative artisans raving to go!
Thus, we go teach at SJSU when they ask; thus, we open a new cohort of interns each quarter. (Keep eyes peeled for the October start-up this year!)
